I'm experienced Unity 3D developer, creating mobile and PC games, Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality apps. I have been developing on Unity 3D since 2013, and also I have been working on AR / VR since 2016. I love improving myself and learning new things.
I have been at all stages of game development such as UI/UX Design, 3D Modeling, Client - Server Development, Realtime Multiplayer, Rigging and Animation, Particle System, Shader Editing, Optimization, Purchase & Ads Systems and Publishing.
After several VR/AR, mobile & PC applications, now, I want to share all my years of experience and knowledge, create applications, and make them unique by showing both my talents and my creative side. Creating games and applications is my passion!
ARsuite creates immersive worlds by perfectly blending the whole physical and virtual dimensions.
I joined the team to design their application through UpWork. The purpose of the application was to exchange the data with the game engine (Unity3D) and Android, and to create an object with AR tools (Vuforia) according to this data. I developed an application that can run Unity application using Android Studio. I tried to achieve maximum optimization.
Dark World Wars
Dark World Wars is a card-based AR/VR multiplayer battle game. Users will be able to fight in 3D with the application according to the cards they have.
I developed a system where two people can battle their cards in real time with a single phone. I designed this game to work in both Virtual Reality and Augmented reality. The basis of both platforms was coded in C# in Unity3D. I used the Google Cardboard SDK for VR side and Vuforia for AR side.
Smarttar Studio AR
SmarttAR is a free application that provides Augmented Reality with your smartphone or tablet camera tool. You can view extra content with SmarttAR for photo albums, wedding invitations, postcards, catalogs, publications and any printed material. To develop the application, I used Unity3D as the game engine, C# as the programming language and Vuforia for Augmented Reality features.
Smartt Studio, where I worked, was a team that did Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality works. They hired me through UpWork and I worked for them for 2.5 months. I completed a total of 3 AR/VR projects for them.
Garanti Technology
In September 2017, I started working on Garanti BBVA Technology as Mobile Application Developer. I improve two main mobile applications of Garanti Bank, which is Turkey's second largest private bank and our main customer. These applications are Garanti Cep & GarantiOne. Mainly, I develop in iOS (Objective-C & Swift), Android (Java) and Server (Java) environments.
As Turkey's mobile banking development team, I worked with a team of 25 people who received the best team award repeatedly. During my work, I made additions to Garanti Bank's application such as Goal Tracker, Mandatory Traffic Insurance, payment with barcode. I built everything from the front-end to the back-end everything in between (Android, iOS, Server). I also experienced Agile/Scrum Methodology in all project stages.
This mobile app used by more than 10 million people. It was a great experience to develop an application that many people use and to see the features I developed being used.
Teleporter VR
In 2016, during my Microsoft internship, I connected with Teleporter VR's founders, joining them at ITU Seed to transform their ideas into reality. I used the Unity 3D game engine to implement this application. I built everything from the front-end to the back-end everything in between. I used Photon for multiplayer and learned how multiplayer logic works. I worked with all VR SDKs so that the application can run cross platform. I learned Blender for the design and optimization part. I developed my first real application for Virtual Reality, working with HTC Vive and Oculus, completely on my own.
It was chosen for the highest prize in the competition “BigBang” which had been held by Istanbul Technical University (ITU). Also, we had the opportunity to represent our project in the U.S.A under the name of ITU Gate.
Campus
Each year, 100 students are taken by all students who apply throughout the Microsoft Summer Internship in Turkey. In 2016, I was qualify to participate in the internship.
The purpose of the internship is to give us training on new technologies and to introduce the important peoples in the sector for 1 month. In addition, each participating student must develop a project using a software language of their choice and the new technologies learned in the course. I decided to choose C# as the software language and develop my project on Unity 3D.
You can see the project that I prepared for the Microsoft Summer School. I created a social gaming platform with a 16-bit design where people can socialize and play games with each other university campuses. I used Azure systems for the server side. I published the game for both Android and Microsoft phones, which were becoming popular at that time. My project qualified to enter the top 10 in 100 projects.
Gnam Gnam
During the internship at Riot Games, I worked a Web & Software Developer and I developed a web application using PHP, Python and SQL in 3 months. My project "Gnam Gnam" was a web-based iOS tablet application. I worked with the developer team of Riot Games and tried to find solutions to the problems they were experiencing in the office.
My goal was to create a tablet application that would allow the employee to directly access the employee's meals and cargo without occupying the secretary. The tablet informed the user via both message and e-mail. In order to send SMS and e-mails, I made an agreement with an operator and integrated their APIs into the system. The information on the tablet was kept on mySQL server and there was an admin panel to edit it. The project ranked among the biggest projects in all Riot Games' offices worldwide.
Find and Solve "Hediyeli Bulmaca"
Find & Solve is an app that brings the hook puzzle experience to smartphones.
I was hired to update the application that developed with Unity3D and write a tool for the team via UpWork. What the team wanted from me was to be able to change the levels with the API without updating the game in the store. At their request, I developed a Unity application separate from the application. I provided JSON communication between the editor and the game. I also updated the Unity version and UI part.
LiveOne VR
LiveOne® is a digital media company focused on transforming the online viewing experience for content creators, media partners and brand sponsors. They worked with me on the UpWork as a freelancer for 1 month to develop a VR application demo for ESPN.
I have created an environment in which users can interact while watching the game in Unity 3D. The viewers could benefit from features such as live betting, shopping, match statistics, social media and chat. The application is designed to work with all known virtual reality devices (HTC Vive, Oculus, GearVR, Google Cardboards).
Boat Puzzle VR
I found the opportunity to work on a Boat Puzzle VR project with Tradewalk. I worked as a freelancer via UpWork.
The Boat Puzzle VR was a puzzle game that running with Unity3D & HTC Vive. It was based on an old mini game logic. I worked with a team that tries to create games that both entertain and educate children. The entire control system was developed with HTC Vive's VR SDK, and thus the entire world was designed to be interactable with controllers. Also before this project, I was always using Unity's own animation tool for animate things but I chose DoTween for this project to adjust the path and animation of the boat.
Yesim Tekstil VR
Yeşim Tekstil VR is a multiplayer virtual reality meeting platform. Participants can enter the meeting room and start their meetings together even if they are not in the office thanks to the platform.
I developed this application using Unity3D with Google Cardboard SDK so that anyone can easily connect with any mobile phone. I used Photon for multiplayer. I set up a server with AWS where users can store their presentations before starting a broadcast. I also used ready-made assets developed in Unity to display it on the screen.
1010!
Good Job Games is one of the fastest growing mobile game publishers in the world. I was one of the developers hired through UpWork and developed one of their first games.
Using Unity3D, I developed my first hyper casual game from scratch with the desired mechanics within a period of 1 month. During this time, I worked with a designer assigned to the game I developed. During this time, I have been involved in every stage of hyper-casual game development. I had the opportunity to experience all the steps such as adding ads, in-game purchases, analysis SDKs and publishing.
Boğaziçi University AR
I managed the development side of a VR company that worked with Unity 3D. We developed many mobile & PC applications with my team of 3 developers and 1 designer. The first application we developed was an Augmented Reality application designed for first-year Computer Engineering students at Boğaziçi University.
The purpose of the application was to teach the students the computer parts in 3D and to show their working principles. We completed the application in a short time and had the opportunity to experiment with 20 students. We have received very good feedback from students. We have taken the first step towards using virtual reality and augmented reality applications for university education. Also while using Augmented Reality technologies, we experienced other AR tools in Unity without depending on Vuforia such as ARKit and ARCore.
NECROMAR
NecromAR is a library application prepared for augmented reality books. Users will be able to login to the application with the codes that come out of the real books they have bought and will be able to read and listen their books in 3D.
We developed the application on Unity3D using Vuforia. We kept user information and the books they owned through MongoDB. We developed the application without being dependent on objects to ensure that each user downloads only the objects of the books they own. We printed unique codes on AR books and designed an authorization so that these codes can work on a maximum of 3 devices.
VOODOO
I came to France and experienced Unity development in different departments of Voodoo company, one of the largest in the mobile game industry, and had the opportunity to work on projects of all known games in the industry. In my 2-years Voodoo career, I worked as Unity Game Developer.
I started on the Marketing side. Our goal was to choose one of Voodoo's known games daily and add new mechanics and gameplay to it. Using my creativity and imaginative side, I would come up with an idea for a new game every day and develop it into a game on the same day. After coding the gameplay and mechanic parts in C#, I was turning the design part of my ideas into reality by using almost all ready-made assets in Unity3D. At the end of the day, to understand whether the change we made was successful or not, we were recording 30-second videos using Unity3D and checking their values by uploading them as ads to popular social media such as Facebook, Tiktok, etc. The next day, we would see the results and find out whether the idea was successful or not, and we would shape our new ideas according to the data we obtained.
After working in Marketing, I worked as a Unity Game Developer in Publishing for about 8 months. In there, I had the opportunity to work with many internal and external studios connected to Voodoo. My job on the publishing side was to bring the prototype games of these studios under Voodoo to reality, add the missing mechanics and turn their games into hit games.
We worked with a team of approximately 25 people throughout this entire period. I make a 2 hour informative Webinar about CPI reduction, accessible to all. I was selected as the 2nd Marketing Developer in the Creative Awards among all Voodoo Marketing Developers.
I worked on Mob Control, Helix Jump, Hole.io, Paper.io 2, Aquapark.io, Crowd City, Uboat, Collect em all, Infantry Attack, Rope and Demolish, Slap and Run, Bucket Crusher, Deliver it 3D and more than 100+ known games like this.
GO SPACE VR
Gospace is one of our projects, both educational and gamified. In the future, doctor candidates go to their patients on other planets, listen to their situation, get support from doctors, and finally take the exam and learn what to do and not to do.
The project was developed in C# language on the Unity3D game engine using the Oculus SDK. Since it is an educational simulation where space and many objects interact, it was written with great attention to optimization. Above you can see a small demo where the long conversations are cut off.
ALEXION AR
Alexion is a pharmaceutical company. They used augmented reality applications to present the medicine they developed for a major disease to doctors. The application then shows how the patient has recovered after using the medicine. During all this process, real reports and datas are shown to the doctor in 3D.
It was the second project we worked on with our team on health sector. We developed the entire environment and UI part using Unity3D & C#. For the patients' videos, we shot 4K in front of a green screen. Finally, we worked with Vuforia again for the Augmented Reality part.
GUITARIST
Guitarist was one of the most difficult projects I developed. By analyzing the instrument the user is playing from the phone microphone in real time, thanks to my adaption of the sound algorithms known to Unity3D, it finds what frequency it is playing and whether it plays the right note and determines whether the song is playing correctly. In this way, users can learn music by themselves and learn to play an instrument.
So far, I have translated the equations written on frequency detection into coding with C# libraries. I worked on the differences in single and multiple note perception. I managed to process the sound in real time and return results without delay. I developed an editor so that the application can automatically learn the notes and frequencies of all the songs that will be required for training. There are still very few applications on the market that can do this. I'm so produing with this application.
HEZARFEN VR
HezarFEN VR fully immersive educational virtual reality game project supported by Bahcesehir University Bilimsel Arastirma Projeleri (BAUBAP) was designed and developed within the scope of doctoral dissertation.
This application was designed to be used in schools in Turkey to teach children about the lives of famous people in a more different way. It was a very impressive experience to work with people who are experts in the field of education and gamification and touch children's lives.
I developed on the HTC Vive device using Unity3D & C#. On the design side, I completed the level designs and game designs myself, using completely ready-made assets. When the project was completed, we had the opportunity to experience the project with more than 50+ selected 4th grade students.
